Love this restaurant! Service is usually snappy and polite. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. I am particularly a fan of the octopus tacos, guacamole, and nachos with chicken. Update: they have had a lot of trouble recently keeping a good health rating. Has been stuck at C for months now.

Hidden gem right in the border of Spanish Harlem. This Mexican restaurant has a cozy, quite, vibe. The decor isn't over the top. Simple and nice. The prices are reasonable and real Mexican food is served unlike the Fake Taco bell food literally one block away. I'd recommend to anyway craving a nice Mexican meal that's not from a truck or a fast food place.

Love the food !! El Paso has been one of my favorite restaurants in nyc since I first went there over 20 years ago. . . I just wish they hadn’t painted the ceiling black . It really changed the ambiance which I loved before.
